Delivery and Returns

Here you’ll find all the information you need to know about the delivery of products purchased through the MCBS website, and what to do if you need a refund or would like to return it. 

Please read the information on this page very carefully, as the delivery and returns policies will depend very much on what product you have ordered. 

All timings refer to deliveries in the UK Mainland. Your order will take longer to arrive if you live off the Mainland or overseas. 

POLITE REMINDER
The MCBS Committee are all volunteers, and the MCBS is currently run as a non-profit organisation purely for the benefit and enjoyment of its members. Whilst we completely understand that sometimes, things don’t go according to plan, please be mindful of the fact that the Committee are managing the MCBS around their home and work lives and so may not be able to provide as fast a service as you would expect from a business. 

For MCBS Merchandise

Deliveries

For all MCBS merchandise, we use Royal Mail.

We usually send MCBS merchandise 2nd Class post, this means your order should arrive within two to three working days. 

Generally, we do not send MCBS merchandise on a service which provides tracking. 

If we have experienced delivery problems with your address in the past, we may, however, consider this. 

Additionally, if you would like to request order tracking, please contact us before you place your order. 

Once your order has been despatched, you will receive an email from the MCBS confirming your order is ‘Completed’. Your order should then arrive within 2-3 working days. 

If your order hasn’t arrived within 2-3 working days after receiving this email, please contact us

Returns and Refunds

Once again, we are a non-profit organisation run be volunteers, and so are unable to accept returns for any reason other than faulty goods. 

If you have a problem with your merchandise, or it is faulty, please contact us to arrange the next steps. 

If your order hasn’t arrived within 2-3 working days of receiving your ‘Order Completed’ email, please contact us so we can investigate further.

For Beer Boxes and Tasting Experiences

Deliveries

Shipping is handled by the Brewery and so each brewery will decide which courier they would like to use. 

Generally, breweries use either APC or DHL.

This will depend on which courier and delivery service the brewery has selected. For more information on how quickly your order will arrive, please contact us. 

Generally speaking, we do not send the list of orders to the brewery until after the cut-off date, so if you ordered your box early, please don’t expect to receive it until after the cut-off date for orders. 

Again, this will depend on the brewery. 

If you would like a tracking code for your order, please contact us or leave a note in the Order Notes at checkout when placing your order and we will try our best to arrange this for you. 

If you have not received your order within 3-5 working days after the cut-off date for orders for that specific beer box, please contact us

Returns and Refunds

Neither the MCBS nor the brewery we are working with are able to accept returns due to the size, weight and fragility of beer boxes. 

If you have a problem with your beer box, please contact us straight away. 

If your order hasn’t arrived within 3-5 working days of the order cut-off date, please contact us so we can investigate further.

We cannot guarantee refunds on behalf of our partner breweries, though we will always try our best to do what we can.
