MCBS Winter Social 2022 – Saturday 26th November

The ASLEF train drivers union has announced industrial action on Saturday 26th November and as a result, it is with a heavy heart that the MCBS has taken the decision to cancel the Winter Social in Nottingham.

Part of the planning for this event was to choose a location which made it as easy as possible for as many members as possible to attend, for the day, using public transport – without the need to book expensive hotel rooms.

Unfortunately, this strike by ASLEF has made this no longer an option. 

Local members are still welcome and encouraged to meet up at the venue, should they feel willing and able to do so. 

All ticket holders have been refunded. 

We hope to reorganise this event in the very near future.
